The time has finally come. As of today, the petition to oust Governor Scott Walker from office has begun. We’ve got 60 days to do it, so please make sure to find someone who has a petition and sign it.
Want to help out or not sure where to go to sign a petition? Here’s a great map of all the recall offices:

Dear Governor Walker,
You’re the Governor of Wisconsin now and, as such, you represent the people of Wisconsin in your actions and appearance. I realize that you keep claiming we’re broke, but I’m rather certain you can afford more than one shirt and two ties. Perhaps you can get one of the Koch brothers to take you shopping next time Men’s Warehouse has a sale.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Wisconsin Citizen
Wisconsin’s smug corporate puppet of a Governor, who will hopefully not make it through a full term, decided after signing his union-busting “budget repair bill” in to law today, that he would turn the douche up to 11 and utilize Twitter to rub a little salt in to Wisconsin’s wounds. I have no doubts that he was all but giggling while he informed the state workers’ unions of the “good news”.
In an effort to do my small part to harm the extreme right-wing efforts of the Koch brothers, I will be henceforth doing my best to avoid purchasing any and all products from Koch Industries. If you are not familiar with them, they have been secretly funding various tea party efforts and have at least one Governor in their pocket.
For those of you willing to join me in this effort, these are the brands to avoid:

For those of you that have been watching, listening, or reading pretty much any US news coverage over the last week, other of course than the propaganda being spouted by the talking heads over at Fox News, you are probably at least vaguely aware of what has been going on here in Wisconsin. Long story short, Governor Walker created his own budget crisis as an excuse kick-start the Republicans’ attempt at union busting.
Up until today, the 40,000+ people who have thus far turned out at our fine state’s capitol have been leading entirely peaceful protests in progressively greater numbers (Again, unless you’re a Fox News watcher who believes the reporting of “anti-American” “riots”). That will hopefully remain the status quo through the weekend, but in his own “Mubarak Moment”, the puppeteers behind Scott Walker have decided to stage their own walk on Madison by bringing out their mindless teabagging faithfuls to do their dirty work. As my wife intelligently pointed out this morning “teachers are used to taking verbal abuse”. That, along with the fact that the hard-working state employees now swarming the capitol are looking to keep their rights, not start a fight, will hopefully mean a continuation of peaceful protests we’ve seen over the past week. If it does take a turn for the worse, however, all blame lies with the Republicans and their tea party horde.

My son joined his Mom today to protest Governor Walker’s proposed removal of collective bargaining rights for state workers. Needless to say, I am very proud of him and, of course, my incredible wife.

If you’re an avid viewer of MSNBC or a regular reader here at Chai Life, you’re probably already aware that a month or so ago, Republican candidate for Governor of Wisconsin Scott Walker’s spokesman made first place in Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Persons” list. Well, this time Walker earned that top spot for himself.

It seems ridiculous that a legitimate candidate would release something in such a huge typeface and boast that it is 68 pages, but see for yourself. He’s so proud of it that he even mentioned its 68 page length in the file name, typed it in all-caps, and stuck an exclamation point at the end. Here’s the download link direct from Walker’s own website:

Looks like someone needs explain to their staff that they should think before they tweet. Lets just hope the Barrett campaign can capitalize off this.
