Ever since a columnist for the Wall Street Journal light-heartedly suggested that Milwaukee could be the perfect host for the 2024 Summer Olympics, there’s been a lot of buzz around the Milwaukee’s little corner of the Internet that this really is a great idea. So much so, in fact, that the associated Facebook page, aptly named “Milwaukee Olympics 2024“, has already surpassed 1,000 “Likes” in only a few short weeks.

Is this a realistic goal for Milwaukee? Probably not, but it doesn’t hurt to hope and any attempt to better the city for a future event like this wouldn’t be a bad thing. So whether you’re fully committed to making this happen or just think it’s a fun idea and like to dream, head on over to the aforementioned Facebook page and give it a Like.
