As of this morning, I’ve decided to be a bit more proactive about my health. My family has a history of both heart disease and diabetes and I want to be around for a very long time with my wonderful wife and our awesome kids, so it is time for me to start some better practices. I’m not doing anything overly ambitious (yet?), but as of this morning I’ve started taking a daily vitamin (Specifically, the One-A-Day Men’s Multivitamin) as well as an omega-3 oil supplement (MegaRed Omega-3 Krill Oil) to help support my heart’s health.
To be clear, I know this isn’t all I need to do to lead a healthy life. I definitely need to start exercising again and I should probably start eating better, but first I need to prove to myself that I can incorporate something as simple as these supplements in to my daily routine and stick with it. I’m considering this to be a step in the right direction, but there are more steps to come.
