While stumbling around the Internet just now, I saw some random comic strip that had Superman in it and a question that I cannot seem to answer for myself popped in to my head: If Superman can take a bullet to the eye without damage, how can a simple razor shave his beard?

His hair isn’t invulnerable. Just his skin.
But in the latest movie he took a bullet to the eye! Are his eyes invulnerable too?
A better question would be, how can Superman repeatedly shoehorn himself into itty bitty spandex underwear and still retain his masculinity? (or, how does he abide all that chafing underneath his Clark Kent suit without ever reaching down to scratch?)
He cannot use a razor. As seen multiple times, a simple pair of scissors will not cut his hair nor will a razor shave his beard. When he does need to shave (or cut his hair) he uses a mirror and his heat vision.
joebob, with that logic I would assume the back of his head is very unkempt.
